Sentiment analysis is trying to an
swer the question: “What do\n people feel about a certain topic?” by digg
ing into opinions held by\n many using a variety of automated tools. Brin
ging together researchers\n and practitioners in business\, computer scie
nce\, computational\n linguistics\, data mining\, text mining\, psycholog
y\, and even sociology\,\n sentiment analysis aims to expand the traditio
nal fact-based text\n analysis to new frontiers\, to realize opinion-orie
nted software.
\n In this crash course\, we will develop a very simp
le software\n application in Python/Flask using the OpenAI API to analyze
sentiments\n in textual samples available on MS Excel spreadsheets.
