FORMAT OF THE CONFERENCE

The conference program will include presentation of invited papers, oral presentations, and poster/demonstration sessions. Papers will be presented in plenary or topic oriented sessions.

Details about the social events will be available on the web page.

SUBMISSION OF PAPERS

Authors are invited to submit a full paper not exceeding 8 pages formatted in the LNCS style (see below). Those accepted will be presented either orally or as posters. The decision on the presentation format will be based upon the recommendation of three independent reviewers. The authors are asked to submit their papers using the on-line submission system

https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=specom2016

Papers submitted to SPECOM 2016 must not be under review by any other conference or publication during the SPECOM review cycle, and must not be previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere.

The paper format for the review has to be the PDF file with all required fonts included. Upon notification of acceptance, speakers will receive further information on submitting their camera-ready and electronic sources (for detailed instructions on the final paper format see http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-6-793341-0).

FOR ORAL PRESENTERS

Oral presentations will be 15+5 minutes long.
Projector (1024 x 768), laptop will be at presenters service.
Presenters are kindly asked to upload the final version of their presentations in the morning of the day of their presentation or at the latest before their session.

FOR POSTER PRESENTERS

Poster presentations are an excellent mechanism to facilitate the rapid communication of scientific ideas. Poster presentations should visually guide viewers through the basics of the study displayed on the poster board while the presenter focuses on explanation and clarification of the key elements of the work and answers viewer questions. The poster presentation format is less formal and more interactive than an oral seminar because it provides the opportunity for viewers to engage in discussion and to have one-on-one interactions with both fellow viewers and the presenter.

The poster sessions will take place on the Mithras Gallery in the Aquincum Hotel, building of the conference venue. Details about the location of presenters individual posters will be available on the poster area at the conference venue. To find the location of poster easily please keep the personal poster ID ready at the conference venue.

The posters can be mounted already from the 10.00 each day and posters are meant to be on display until 17.00 on the afternoon. After that you can take your posters down. If any posters are left after the end of the conference, they will be removed. Poster presenters are only required to be present at their poster board during the assigned time of their poster presentation.

Poster walls will be available for presenters at the conference venue. Boards are made of cork with aluminum frames. Each board will have pushpins available for presenters to secure their poster. A small table will be at presenters service, too.

The poster walls fit posters with a maximum size of 85 x 100 cm - upright. Presenters can use A0 format, too but in this case 20 cm will be out of the poster wall (downwards). It is recommended that poster presenters use thin, lightweight poster paper for their poster. Heavier paper or cardboard may be difficult to keep in position on the board.

SPECOM Proceedings will be published by Springer as a book in the Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence (LNAI) series listed in all major citation databases such as DBLP, SCOPUS, EI, INSPEC, COMPENDEX. SPECOM Proceedings are included in the list of forthcoming proceedings for August 2016.
